The Adult Psychiatric Care in Falun and Säter has a county-wide mission within adult psychiatry, responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, and substance abuse treatment.

Temporary Nurse, Ward 65, Psychiatry Falun

Ward 65 at Falu Hospital is part of the addiction center. The ward has 14 beds and its own emergency department specialized in addiction care, primarily focused on withdrawal treatment of risk withdrawal. The ward works with a motivational program that helps motivate patients to make a change regarding their substance dependency issues.

On the ward, we work in a team around the patient consisting of caregivers, nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors. Access is available to a social worker, psychologist, and occupational therapist through the acute psychiatric clinic's treatment team. Good collaboration with the municipalities' social services, primary care, and psychiatric outpatient care is a success factor in the work.

The addiction center also includes a LARO reception for patients with opioid dependence. Ward 65 also staffs the needle exchange in Falun together with staff from the infection department two days a week.

We are looking for two temporary nurse positions for work in our inpatient ward, Ward 65, with opportunities to develop in related services. Requirements:

• You are a licensed nurse.

Preferred:

• You have experience in psychiatry, substance abuse issues, somatic and emergency care.

The workgroup consists of both nurses and caregivers/nursing assistants, where we work closely together in teams, and we place great importance on personal qualities to create a harmonious team where everyone works together in a positive and successful spirit.

We are looking for an engaged nurse with a genuine interest in caring for and treating patients with mental health issues, substance abuse, and dependency problems. You should be particularly interested in collaboration, able to take responsibility, and initiate your own actions.
